"THE INFORMALITY OF FAMILY LIFE IS A BLESSED CONDITION THAT ALLOWS US ALL TO BECOME OUR BEST WHILE LOOKING OUR WORST."
If you haven't heard of the sweet little neighborhood of New Town in St. Charles, Missouri -- you need to check it out. This gorgeous planned community is made up of non-traditional homes, unique shops and beautiful parks, designed to advocate for a walkable community, unlike other modern cities that are built to accommodate automobiles. The town perfectly emulates the "good old days," when kids could walk to the local ice cream shop in the summer and trick-or-treat on Halloween without having to worry so much about their safety.
There are exciting events and fun things to do all year-round in New Town, such as concerts, festivals, outdoor volleyball, swimming, and paddle-boarding. You also will find an excellent selection of restaurants, coffee shops and kid-friendly establishments.
I was so excited to be able to spend a weekend here doing spring mini-sessions and meet more of the sweet faces who call New Town their home. The pictures above are just a few of my favorites (although it was hard to choose). I can't wait to make another trip back for even more fun family time!
